“The Green Room Celebrates the Innovation and Beauty of Sustainable Design. It is a showcase, exhibition space and Resource Center for the latest in stylish and beautiful “green” design. Each month the space features new products. We also provide two study spaces with iMac computers and reference books about green design.”

Hosted by Verdant magazine  and Cottages & Gardens Publications, this non-traditional showcase is located in the New York Design Center (NYDC) at 200 Lexington Ave, New York, NY.

I’ve been digging green lately and found a few nice blogs related to it.  They are now listed on the right side-bar for easy daily readings.  It is nice to hear about all the green movements and how everyone is working on doing something better for the environment day-by-day. 

There was a nice recent article on the green guide about the myth of shampoos, like how many of them promised “clarifying,” “hydrating” or “de-frizzing”…  but really, is that what they can do? 

Really!! I recently came across a tutorial about another eco-friendly cleaning tip.  Laura shows us how to simply using just baking soda, tin foil and hot water to clean your sterling silver jewelry.  Love learning another natural living tips.  No more of those yucky smelly cleaning solution…. YAY!!
