knit project updates

finished a new baby jacket last week … it’s a surprise gift. Originally started from DB Ribbed Baby Jacket but modified to a more boyish version with moss stitch instead.  It was a fun project.

Next, I’m working on a new wrist/arm warmer pattern with my favorite handspun designer’s yarn…it’s a self striping handspun with handcarded Merino wool, silk noil, flax, tencel, sparkle and some Wensleydale lamb locks.  It’s so fun and yummy.  I’m loving how the stripes coming out.

was totally exhausted from the biz-bootcamp I took @ the nova studio… got a lot to catch up on orders… probably won’t have much time to knit until next week.

my 1st own pattern

have been knitting a lot of random, smaller projects after I completed the Feb Lady Cardigan…. just haven’t had time to take good photo shoots of all of them…

here’s a sneak peek of my first own pattern - chunky cowl #1, using a stitch I made-up as well… super soft & cozy… there is a male version, too… just need to take pictures… =P coming soon……

oh, and the pattern coming soon, too! ^_^

Manga Me & Mr.!!

Me & Mr.!!, originally uploaded by mi*2.

from the new toy on-line : Face Your Manga

They don’t quite have my hair.. I picked the closest, my sides are longer than the back.

But I had FUN creating them. ^_^

first knitty sale…

yay.. the ruffle scarflette was sold from mi SHOP.. it was a bit of a surprise as I thought no one would buy my knits =P …so excited to know someone appreciate it… I have to quickly come up with a new tag (now that it’s not for mi SPA stuffs) and new packing ideas… it is now already on it’s way to Kuala Lumper… YUP, the order was from Malaysia.

now, I have all new ideas for versions of the ruffle scarflette. =P

skinny warmer

I came across another fun new technique for handweaving chunky yarns to a scarf…. quickly play a bit with my stash of blue sky bulky alpaca/wool and came up with this skinny neck warmer… I think it looks quite stylish =P… it’s now available at mi SHOP

hmmm, more ideas for another fat & chunky handwoven scarf…..hopefully soon…

feb lady sweater

but currently, I’m still on my “feburary” lady sweater… it was taken me quite some time, but it was because I couldn’t get on it most of the time, tried my best to knit a bit every night when I can… I think it’s coming along quite cute… have to decide on the body length and then move on to the sleeves.

Twist Vest #1 -finished!

It was actually finished weeks ago… just never got the chance to picture it on him. After some serious blocking, it fits perfectly *cool* on him. =) He’s growing up way too fast!!

Pattern: Twist by Jillian Moreno
Yarn: O-Wool balance - Vermont Organic Fiber Company

I knitted the body as seamless, super easy! Love the yarn. Perfect for the Cali weather and not-at-all itchy. Planning to knit a 2nd vest for Mr. Maybe when I’m done with my current cardigan.
