What a week!!

9/22 Sat @ midnight - surfing thru web and doing my routine check on statcounter…. found someone not only copied my packaging, but her entire website design, colors, graphics were based from mi-spa.com v.2……

9/23 Sun - contacted copycat’s host, reported on the infringement issue

9/24 Mon - my most stressful birthday ever……..spending most of the day seeking for legal help …… learned that I never ever need any help from this K lady who claimed to be an experienced copyrights lawyer…. learned that I can have so much more resources and loving buddies around me who would dropped anything on their hands to help me with my situation…. my first ever C & D letter to a business were sent at 9:31pm…. and finally had some time to take a bite of my birthday cake.

9/25 Tue - copycat fought back! With miracles, another angel came into my life and lead me thru the battle. By 5pm, this copycat site & package had totally changed. Case finally resolved.

CASE & POINT
Reach out for help! Not everyone would be your angel, but angels will come. And COPYCATS will never win!

For a peaceful happy ending of this post, I finally cleaned-&-organized my work room, to be decent enough for a photo shoot. Love my new window treatments! ^_^

I just happened to stumble upon your blog, I’m a soapmaker myself and I’ve put many long hard (but pleasant) years into this business, much like yourself and I wanted to say I’m so glad things worked out for you, concerning the copycat. And I like your message, to reach out for help & copycats never win!! Thanks for the reference too

You just never know if you don’t ask. For me, nothing is impossible! I’d learned so much from just simply “asking”.

Good for you! I’m so glad that you pursued this and won in the end and they changed their site. It’s so sad that there are individuals that love to steal the hard work of others.
